I've heard that Verizon's network doesnt allow for voice and data at the same time, so no talking and web surfing at the same time.

It's been reported that multiple AT&T sources have confirmed the vacation block, also enforced by the company for the past two iPhone launches. A June vacation lockdown means that we may not have to wait until July.

Little has been leaked about Apple's next-generation handset other than some key functionality like multitasking, in-app MMS and a Game Center expected with iPhone OS 4. Rumors of the 4G handset hint once again at a front facing camera for iChat.

Behold! The new iPhone cometh.

Maybe for the retail stores, but not IT. At least we havent been informed of such a block and didnt have a vacation block last year either.

Verizon uses a CDMA Network where AT&T uses a GSM network which allows for some different things, however, CDMA will allow more calls to process at a time versus GSM giving Verizon a less dropped call rate because its towers allow more data and voice transmissions.

Even though AT&T says it can process data and voice calls at the same time, this will soon be different as both AT&T and Verizon move to LTE (Long Term Evolution) therefore, both companies will use the same technology and this is to start rolling out this year. LTE will allow voice and data at the same time, in addition, it will have Cable Broadband speeds.

(I use to work for Verizon Wireless so I got a little knowledge from them :-) )

This Is Apple's Next iPhone
http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone

You are looking at Apple's next iPhone. It was found lost in a bar in Redwood City, camouflaged to look like an iPhone 3GS. We got it. We disassembled it. It's the real thing, and here are all the details.
