Speaking of EarthDay

That one of the most massive amounts of deforestation in the Amazon is most likely the cause of the very environmentalist that want to protect the planet?
Of course that's just my take on it, but a good take it is.
After I read Pastor Gary's post on the founding of earth day, I thought to myself......why do people cut so much of the rainforest down? I mean why? Is there no other place to get good wood? Is the demand for lumber so high that it has caused the timber companies to go to such lengths? Maybe.
But then I seen this article on a earth friendly website. (earthfriendly, I just made that up)
And it mentioned a guy named "Blairo Maggi, the millionaire farmer and uncompromising politician presiding over the Brazilian boom in soya bean production."
Hmm, soya bean production........soya.. bean.. production.........earth friendly...... environmentalists..........soya beans.....tofu..health nut.....yea,, I'm making the connection.
The new eco responsible modern day baby boomer offspring have an insatiable desired to flood the world with there Green indoctrination. They like to point the finger at Capitalism and big business while ignoring and covering up the fact that Green is big business! And green owed companies are raking in billions!
I just found the connection a bit to ironic to pass on sharing.
Look, I care about the earth insofar as not wanting to pollute it and destroy it and treat it like a trash heap. I think most people like a nice green lush planet that full of life and good smells and clean air all the really good stuff about God's creation. It is His and He holds the only solution to this fallen world at that is to be destroyed by fire. So sure we can treat it good and grown it well but realize that one day God is going to redecorate and it's out with the old and in with the new.
