Democratic Socialists of America

I seen this website on the Glen Beck show so I thought i would check it out and see what was there. I have to tell you, I knew that alot of the Liberal Left is starting to look more and more radical but now I know why.

Here is just a couple things I found troubling, there were TONS more, this is just a few.

"Democratic Socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically—to meet public needs, not to make profits for a few."

"We cannot allow all radicalism to be dismissed as “Communist.” That suppression of dissent and diversity undermines America’s
ability to live up to its promise of equality of opportunity, not to mention the freedoms of speech and assembly."

I guess that only works for there side right? Because they would love nothing more than to brand Tea Party activist as racist and try to silence there decent.

"Although a long-term goal of socialism is to eliminate all but the most enjoyable kinds of labor,.... And this undesirable work should be among the best, not the least, rewarded work within the economy."

So socialist are going to rid the world of "undesirable work" (I guess Mike Rowe with have to do a show called Clean Jobs cause there won't be anything Dirty to do) and not only that, the Janitor is going to be making the same income as a Surgeon. healthcare at it's finest.

A question is asked about whether Socialist were in competition with Democrats:
"No, we are not a separate party. Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious, and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party.
For now, we will continue to support progressives who have a real chance at winning elections, which usually means left-wing Democrats.

Interesting, socialists undercover as left-wing Democrats. Excuse me, moderate Democrat, your party has been high-jacked by Socialists!


This is all a little bit weird to because just the other day Bertha Lewis, the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Organizer of ACORN, was speaking at a sub group of Democratic Socialists....the Young Democratic Socialists.

You can youtube it, she is in FULL support of the Socialists movement and she says so several times.

Obama says he is using ACORN's input to help shape the future of America.

I don't know man, it's to convincing for me to ignor. Obama, IMHO is a bonified socialist is disguise as a democrat.
