In 6th grade, the students do a "Nations Fair" which is much like a science fair only it involves research of another country.
Part of the project is to make a food dish native to that country and to dress in traditional dress for the fair.
My son chose Scotland.
He chose Scotland BECAUSE one of the guys at church has a kilt and my son thought that was totally cool!

Irish, not Scottish, but we are getting ready to run to MacGuire's in Destin for supper. I love me some Shepherd's Pie. My 6 year old's freckles are showing from all the sun today.

I agree - kilts are way cool.

Wish I had the nerve (and the legs) to wear one.
