I really don't know who Justin Bieber is.

I mean, I know he's some singing celebrity or overnight sensation, but that's all I know. Put him in a lineup, I couldn't identify him (unless the other people are all members of the Blind Boys of Alabama or something).
Would someone tell me who this kid is and why his name keeps popping up everywhere? I could Google him, but I'd rather hear your descriptions of him.

He's a poor kid. His mom started posting videos of him singing on YouTube, somebody took notice and he was 'discovered.'
That's about all I know, but, hey, I'll be 60 next Wednesday, so it's surprising I know that much.

He became a youtube viral video star with his songs. Usher and Justin Timberlake both wanted to sign him. Usher won the battle. He has hits all on the radio. He really can sing.. but he is young and hasnt had the voice change.
Even grown women have Beiber Fever. I had a woman about 25 years old ask if she could borrow my 9 year old daughter so she could go see him.

careful, there are those that will cause a ruckus when you say you don't know someone and they think you should, or assume you should. the accusations fly, and insinuations get thick.
personally, I don't know either cept that there is a facebook page that says something about voting him out of the male gender.
