I can't stand Bill Maher, can't stand him! But I don't think this is necessarily racist. In poor taste? Sure, but it's like this, I am a white guy who has probably more black friends than just about anyone I know. Some of my best friends are black, I truly truly look past the color of skin in making judgments on there character.
That being said, I don't think it's racist to tell "black jokes" like that, or the "wud up homie g funk, word to ya motha" comedy that many people do. The problem isn't that Maher or anyone else like that is racist.....the problem is that most liberals left Democrat's are too hyper-sensitive when they hear a white conservative joke like late.

But most of the comments to that video are right,....they (liberals) can use language like that but if a conservative does it then they will undoubtedly be labeled as racist. Double standard.

Here's why

Brian, here's why I find it absolutely inherently racist: the entire premise of the joke is that "real" black people are gun toting, profanity-using, menacing thugs. It plays upon the worst ghetto stereotype imaginable.

Racist, no matter how many black friends he has, you have or I have.

There is no doubt this is racist and LIBERALS would call THIS extreme racism IF right wing conservatives SUCH AS Rush said this. Not to mention they would paint a picture of a white southern racist redneck hillbilly party after such a comment.
This is to say that Black people are known to be thugs and they are not.
It is as bad to say white people are all nasty white trash. It is a stereo type of the worst kind.

All I can say is that black people are not thugs nor are white people white trash, mexicans are not gangsters and muslims are not all terrorist.
there are bad people in every race color holds no dividing in numbers.
There are simply bad people.
It is like the stereo type that black people use welfare more then all other races, when that is actually false..... we should never base anything upon the color of their skin but RATHER THE CONTENT OF THERE CHARACTER!

My overseer is black and a great man of God......

Did Spike Lee hear Bill Maher's racist comments and echo them? Why not just say we need a leader instead of a hot head?

•••••

"One time, go off!" director Spike Lee urged on CNN's "AC 360°." "If there's any one time to go off, this is it, because this is a disaster."
Lee's sentiment echoes the frustration of people who want to see Obama get loud, take charge

Apparently Obama is attempting now to become the "A** Kicker!*

Listen to this tragic clip from a sitting US President.

Dee Dee Myers says some opposition to President Obama is "racially driven." Myers says using the phrase "gone street" when referring to kicking ass has "African-American street culture" implied.

Now the liberal left racism continues with this rope a dope trying to blame the Right for something their own Hollywood Elite Liberals generated ( just see above ). DO these spinners really think we are this stupid? It's called Google.

Beam Me Up Scotty.

Again.. the spin is to try to

1) Generate the Racist TONE first ( Maher, Lee )
2) Blame it on others so they can condemn.

As this editor from the Page, Mark Halperin, blaming Matt Drudge for catering to his "racist" audience.

http://realclearpolitics.com/video/2010 ... mment.html

Halperin was talking about the headline "Obama Goes Street: Seeking 'Ass To Kick'" that ran on the "Drudge Report" earlier this week.

"He thought it would be cool and hip, but he knew full well that it was provocative and racial. I'm not saying that makes Matt Drudge a racist, but [what] I'm saying is Matt Drudge knows how to tap into the sentiment of a lot of his readers," Halperin added.

Now everyone is a racist if you visit the Drudge Report?
Shameless, absolutely shameless..
