Advice/Opinion Needed

Postby PastorDaniel » July 1st, 2010, 11:32 am

Hope all is well with those of you reading this. I'm interviewing with American General Life and Accident Insurance and Woodmen of the World Insurance. Each have pros and cons and I've been offered both positions.

Does anyone here know anything about either company. I'm looking for both positive and negative feedback. I prefer personal experience unless you know a verifiable situation of a close relative. I'm trying to make a prayerful, educated, informed decision.

I would appreciate your prayers on this matter and any feedback you may have.

Thanks!

Been licensed to sell for 9 years. Have sold full-time and part-time on and off while in ministry.

I have no advice, but to note that Woodmen of the World is a weird sounding name. Coming from CoGoP, you know what a hindrance that can be!

On the other hand, I know nothing about either company, but we'll pray for guidance and wisdom for you!
..I press on to take hold of that
for which Christ took hold of me.

yeah...that has been a little awkward to me...they are a fraternal life insurance society...and they do have lodges...so that has generated a lot of questions on my part...but they are not a secret society...they are non-profit and do a lot of community work...they are open to everyone...so the lodge is nothing more than renting a facility once a month and eating together...and they discuss how to volunteer help in the community...

I would go to the Better Business Bureau site and check out their ratings...

That will give you some information as to "how" they do business.
