Anyway, the forecast is for 100 degrees Friday and Saturday here in north Alabama. And, wouldn't you know that our AC is suddenly sick.

Good thing I have folks in the business in the family ..... of course, they were supposed to have fixed it on Tuesday but apparently it didn't "take". :roll:

I know the rest of the south and east is getting cooked too. Gotta love these dog days of summer. Must find a watering hole to jump into this weekend.

heat index was 104 here today with temp bout 94

I talked to my wife who got there this am. She said for a west coast girl it was pretty brutal.

I noticed at 10:00pm my car had the temperature at 93 here just outside of DC. Also the humidity level this morning was at 80%.

Today heat index of around 110 degrees.
