I googled it, because I have never heard of it, and found this:

"You don't say what web browser you are using, but if you are using Firefox try this: 1) click on the drop-down arrow to the left of the search box 2) click on Manage search engines 3) click on Qword, then on the Remove button, then on the OK button

The procedure is similar in Internet Explorer. If this doesn't work it might be because qword has hijacked your browser. There are bad programs out there like this. I never heard of Qword and i don't know if they do this. If your browser has been hijacked then you'll need some help from some anti-malware software like Spybot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes, Adaware, or Superantispyware. Source(s):" http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl… http://www.superantispyware.com/download… http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_awar…

-- and --

Malwarebytes found the hijacked pages and you'll need to remove these then go through your entire registry (back it up first) and delete everything that's qword.com (keep hititng F3). You'll also have to delete anything from VersalSoft on your hard drive (check the Program Files folder and also C:\Versalsoft) and in the registry also. Reboot and verify it doesn't come back. Lastly, check to make sure that Qword.com isn't listed in your Internet Explorer search provider. That worked for me yesterday.

I am sure some of the Windows gurus here can give you more accurate info. I am a Mac guy and don't know.

If you are wanting to remove Qword, Uninstall and you will need to use Regedit to manually delete contents of Qword. If you're not comfortable using Regedit then another option is to download this small tool called Combofix from here. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofi ... e-combofix It will do it in a matter of mintues.

Also download a clearner to remove the fragments leftover, a good one is CClearner from here. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
