As of August 15th I am no longer serving as Pastor at the Southside Church in Somerset, KY. My family and I are in the process of moving to Owensboro. Don't know all that God has in store, but I do know God is in control. So, I am no longer "Pastor Rob", I am now simply, Rob!

Please remember my family in prayer as we make the necessary adjustments. Our girls are already enrolled in school in O'boro, and Anita and I are looking for employment. Please make that a matter of prayer.

Thanks,

Rob

I said this same thing to "Pastor Bill"... Enjoy being a SON. Taking rest is part of God's very nature. On the 7th day he rested.. not because He was tired or worn out.. but because it's whom He is. SO enjoy this well deserved rest with no condemnation!! Remember also you have to LABOR to enter into rest.. so never stop reaching for it.

Receive this below if you can. I have and it's been absolutely wonderful.

Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)

28-30 "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

God Bless!

Praying for you today...

Praying for you.

Love MacUser's post and the Scripture he has been quoting. It has really spoken to me and I have been enjoying a rest for other reasons - with no condemnation.

Thought this song by Chris Tomlin might also minister to you as it has to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqJsBRFdrA0

Praying for you & your family during this transition. Just thought of you yesterday for no reason, or at least I thought it was for no reason. Blessings!
