I'm curious to see how this varies among us. Go to Google and type in the alphabet, one letter at a time. For example, type "A", and see what comes up as the first entry. For me, the first entry is Amazon. For B, it is Best Buy. For C, it is Craigslist. D is Dictionary. E is eBay.

The rest of my list:
Facebook
Gmail (how very noble)
Hotmail
Imdb
Jobs
Knology
Lowe's
MySpace
Netflix
Office Depot
Point Mallard (for those not from 'round here, that's a water park in Decatur, Alabama and home of America's first wave pool)
Quotes
Redstone Federal Credit Union
Sti (the stock symbol for Suntrust Banks)
Target
UPS
Verizon
Walmart (of course)
Xbox
Youtube
Zappos (apparently an online shoe store?)

Digits appear as follows:
103.1 (WEUP, local urban/hip-hop radio station)
2010 calendar
3M
4chan
50 cent
60 Minutes
7-Zip
801 Franklin (a catering service in Huntsville, AL)
95.1 (The Rocket, another radio station)
007, as in Bond James Bond

How does yours differ?

Sorry Danny, But Kroger is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's not "local" to Nashville.

Just curious why you think an data base would be any different from user to user? Those are at the top of the most used or most searched...that may change in time. (Google's autocomplete algorithm offers searches that might be similar to the one you're typing.)

It appears that we have similar results, but several of mine were localized to my area.

I realize that TW and I should have put regional. I worked for them twice and Wendy worked for them as well so we are quite aware of that BUT they are not national so some here on J2 may wonder what Kroger is.
