Departed on Nov. 21, 2010 and resided in Greenville, SC.
Bishop Vicars is a former State Overseer of South Carolina

Visitation:Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home (White Horse Road – Greenville)
Service:Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel
Cemetery:Graceland West Cemetery

I believe he also was overseer in New England too.

He pastored the old Ridgedale church in Chattanooga before being an overseer. I believe his father-in-law was M. S. Curry.

I believe that Bro. Vicars is an uncle to Steve Gilmer, former SO of NC. Does anyone know where Bro. Gilmer went and what he is doing?

He is pastoring the Rockingham Church in NC.

and yes, he is Steve's uncle.
