I just bought a Kodak Zi8 video camera and it saves the video in quicktime.

I have Windows at the moment and I know a lot of Mac users here. Just wondering what do you think is the best software for editing quicktime video on a Windows machine.

Buying a Mac would probably be the best option, but at the moment that is not an option for me

Thanks Billy, I was thinking about getting Sony Vegas, but I think it does not do quicktime. It seems that Cyberlink Powerdirector seems great.

I will see what software comes with the camera, but most likely I will buy Powerdirector.

Short answer.. Yes

According to manual it will save files as

AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Portable, H.264 AVC, Windows Media Video, and Quicktime.

Here is the manual

And Like I said.. I have V8 they now V9 which has more bells and whistles.

It even support 9 PIP layers.
