Sat. morn we had a jog-a-thon where the runners/walkers had sought out pledges per lap to donate to the youth missions trip and overall missions. About 130 people participated. It was an hour long event. Kids, youth, adults, and seniors participated. My 8 yr old son did 17 laps in 1 hour. That's over 4 miles. Caetie did 15 laps. A few guys did 36 laps. Anyhow, $44,000+ was raised!
Pastor Mohan from Chennai, India preached last night. It was so simple, so quiet, and so demanding. I didn't know what to expect but boy did he deliver. He pastors a 45,000 member church and has helped plant 200 churches. He made several altar calls and hundreds came forward. It was a great blessing. He brought a video his congregants had made. They thanked Cornerstone for it's work in India and gave specifics as to how Cstone has helped them.
He preached about the anointing and how we must operate in that. He spoke of a man that sought out a magician/witchcraft to do harm to a minister. The magician reported that the demons came back to him and said we cannot touch that man for he is anointed of God. That magician then repented and gave his heart to God. Amazing stuff; we usually only read of such things in the Scriptures. America just doesn't know.
