To the tech & creatives

My daughter's boyfriend, son of a Baptist pastor, is head creative at one of the Apple Stores. He teaches people how to use the creative apps on Macs. I asked him to produce a video to be shown at church this Sunday before we have water baptism at the beach later in the afternoon, and what he created just blew me away. He took 5 of the possibly 12 we will baptize and edited their interviews into a 3 minute piece that looks amazing.

So for all you techies and creatives working behind the scenes to bless your church, usually without compensation and often without appreciation, a standing ovation from me!

(I'll post a link to the video once I upload it to YouTube, after it is shown at REUNION this Sunday.)

Looking forward to the video. I purchased some video editing software about 6 months ago and have tinkered with it. A lot of detailed thought has to be used..

I have said it before..

ditto Billy. :)
i have all the tools, so am the one that gets to do the creative stuff, even if there are more "artistic" folks out there. - kinda goes hand in hand with running media and sound. i know how, so it becomes my job.

not complaining, I am just careful to let folks know I can train anyone. and that if anyone feels called or has a desire, that I am not a permanent fixture.

Been working on our regional directory, recently. also working on a video that will be kinda hokey, but will show how to fill out the various reports to the region and int. offices for churches, pastors and ministers. hope i can get it done before summer ends.

Very true. At least you know how.

Pastor Gary, I watched the video on Youtube. Great job. Very professionally done.
