My Grandmother Fields

The Fields family (my mother's side of the family) has been bitterly divided for at least 20 years over all sorts of issues...

And the matriarch--my Grandmother Fields--is ready to cross over to her eternal home in Heaven....

She has been a Christian for about 60 years...a wonderful lady (for the most part), full of the Holy Ghost, and just a very good woman.

There have been some serious issues in the family ever since my Grandfather Fields (a death bed repentance story) passed away on April 1, 1985--my last semester at Lee.

She wants me to sing at the funeral, and I've decided that I don't want to do so....and besides, she'll be in heaven--with far more important things on her mind, I'm sure.

This family (The Fields clan) needs LOTS of prayer....I could write volumes on all the stuff that I know---and I"ve been largely detached for the last many years....

Sometimes living 1000 miles away is a real blessing.
