Gerald has raised some interesting question, now I have a question.
Question:
Should we, as Christians, be supporting the Zionist movement?

What do you mean by Zionist movement?
I think it is FINE to support Israel because they are Americas friend.
I think it is FINE to support Israel because they are Democracy friendly.
I think it is even fine to support Israel so that the unwashed heathen masses will not surge in and destroy all the Christian and Jewish sites.
I think it is IDIOTIC and UNBIBLICAL to BLINDLY support the modern nation of ISRAEL no matter what, THINKING you are doing something SPIRITUAL.
It depends

I think Christina should respect our Hebraic roots, and our common heritage with the Jews. I think we should support their right to the land, as promised by God, and there right to exist as a unique sovereign people and culture. However, that support stops the moment doing such violates the teaching and/or person of Christ.

Paul taught in Romans that a remnant of Israel will be saved, and that until the full number of Gentiles be brought into the kingdom -- or, more precisely in Paul's verbiage, until the full number of Gentiles be brought into Israel as Abraham's seed -- Israel would be hardened in part. Only the remnant will be saved -- and, they are the true Israel because of that fact. Otherwise, not all of Israel is Israel at all, so to speak. In fact, that's what Paul said. Those natural branches will be grafted into their own olive tree, according to Paul.
I support that.

Yes, Billy. They won't know what hit 'em when Shaun McKinley, Bubba Cardin, Dannie Hix, Paul Holt, Billy Adams, Terry R. Barnwell, Milton Gordon, Douglas Stephenson, DeWayne Hamby and I get off that plane.
