Azusa Street Revival

The Repository of Church History Etc has a lecture by Stanley Jebb upon the Asuza Street Revival. The lecture is balanced, not ignoring the excesses and errors those raised on stories of Azusa Street "glories" never heard, and not totally writing off the events as of no worth.
The most jarring information in the lecture is that of diarys of certain of the Revials supporters who reported the active working of Spiritists and Mediums in the altar. This allowance was of such a strength that two of the leaders of the revival had a falling out over the issue and both later came to admit that the practice of allowing these practices was wrong.
The lecture can be found here:

I reiterate: The story of Mediums and Spiritists with free reign during the services was NOT told by Detractors and even caused a falling out between the two main ministers of the "Revival"
If this is true, how would it affect your vie of the Azusa Street Hooplah?
