Two friends of mine from high school married. He retired from the Army, they settled in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We have kept in touch off and on over the years. I recently added her as a friend on FB. She has been posting some weird stuff. Now, come to find out, they have both converted to Sunni Muslim. They both grew up in Christian homes. I am just trying to understand this. What do the Sunnis stand for, I am trying to research this, thanks.

I know a former-COGOP member in Colorado who converted to Islam to marry a Muslim woman. Just astounds me...

And, I'm sure you saw the news story yesterday where Oliver Stone's son, Sean Stone, is in Iran and converted to Islam. He is now a Shia Muslim whose first name is Ali. Ali Stone. One article mentions, too, that Tony Blair's sister-in-law converted to Islam in 2010 -- also in Iran.

Not what you'd intuitively figure for America's "liberals" .... but for the fact that Islam is a means of exercising power WITH the trappings of religion while also expressing a hatred for both Jesus and the children of Jacob. It is really sort of the perfect religion for them, given what their inclinations already are.

Politics is a spiritual exercise. It is also an antichrist exercise. IMO, Islam is the perfect religion for the political class.

Are we not told that it DOES NOT MATTER how you define Jesus that as long as you believe in A Jesus you're okay?

JUST WITHIN PENTECOSTALISM there is The Jesus Manifestation of Oneness, the Non-Divine Jesus, the Jesus that died for my self esteem, the Jesus that shed his blood for my bank account, the Jesus I can manipulate to do whatever I want him to do if I have enough Faith.

So Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet! So there he is You can be a Muslim and believe in Jesus TOO!!!

And the Next Generation "Billy Grahm" T D Jakes (let his name ever be praised!) has said that Muslims "in situ" may be the sheep of the other fold Jesus was talking about.

SO HOW CAN ANYONE BE SUPRISED that a modern day Christian becomes a Muslim????

Yes, keep on Loving them. Correct them in LOVE. While not rejecting, impugning or ridiculing. Yet by SHOWING them the Love of Your Jesus.
