We leave tonight for the Philippines with a team of 17. Will be at smokey mountain in Manila (dump site) for a few days then on to Mindanao. A lot of activities scheduled along with sending out two remote area church planters with the solar video equipment and Bible College programs. We will also be continuing the TOMS shoe distribution program for the children. A young couple will be going with us and remaining as full time missionaries for WMOF. They will be helping to establish our work there and also through out South East Asia.
I Met with Filipino leaders here in the states and they have requested our Bible college and Community Development Programs to be set up in their churches through out the Philippines, numbering several hundred. THis is a major advancement for our program there and we rejoice in this development.
Also we have been contacted by a African denomination in Kenya who have over a 1,000 churches throughout east Africa (Kenya, Tanszania, Ughanda, Burnia, Rhwanda and Rep. of Congo) about setting up our Bible College and Community Development Programs in their churches. I will meet with their General Overseer in August to implement these programs. God has been opening so many new avenues for the work and we thank Him and give Him all the glory.
Our Pastors in S. Sudan will be holding a crusade this week and we are believing for multitudes to come to Christ. The past two few weeks work has been going forth in preparing leaders and pastors for followup and discipleship. The Bible College program is being put in place in S. Sudan at this time. Please continue to pray for the Harvest of Souls, and the equipping of the saints for the work of the miistry.
