Thanks.

Can you also tell me where I can obtain a copy of the most current church polity and business guidelines for our church office?

PG,

I know things are done differently then they were in the past so I had a question.

I read that report that mostly pertained to sanctification. I notice it says:

Assembly Committee for
Biblical Doctrine and Polity
Church of God of Prophecy

I assume that is like the Q&S in a sense? Also did they pass any changes to COGOP original stance on Sanctification and move to a more "progressive" theological stance? I noticed also from the report, that there seems to be a strong move to lean away from it being a second definite work of grace and a work done at salvation. If I understood the report correctly ( I had to skim through it so i was not able to read word for word, due to time) Did that pass? If so what is COGOP belief on sanctification now?
I am asking not to debate in any way just curious how the study of this subject turned out.

be blessed

The document was released at this assembly for consideration, prayer, dialog, and discussion. Nothing was passed. This is becoming more the norm for us — the Biblical Doctrine and Polity Committee does scholarly research on the subject, writes a paper as a starting point, and then presents that to the assembly for a year of input, debate, and dialog to give everyone around the world time to pray, study and give feedback.

This paper will be acted on at the 2014 Assembly after it goes through numerous modifications and adjustments coming from the collective wisdom of the church. The proxy system will then come into play in '14 so the voice of the worldwide body is represented.

That help?

So there was nothing released at the last Assembly in 2010 to be passed on in this latest Assembly?

I can't find it right now, but I thought someone asked about appointments made at the COGOP assembly:
