RT Kendall was the guest preacher/speaker at Cornerstone Nashville last night. I had never heard of this guy before.

He was a small old man but wow did he have a message. He spoke on forgiveness and laid it out there using Joseph and his brothers as the backdrop to his sermon.

Hundreds made their way to the altar, nearly half the congregation. He spoke straight, to the point, and was serious as a heart attack. Very powerful message. It's something I learned about 4 years ago and it set me free. Truly forgiving someone in a Biblical manner is powerful.

Thought I would share.

Have you ever heard him or read his books?

RT Kendall is from Ashland, KY. He is a cousin to some of the members that attended the church in Grayson, KY when I pastored there. When their daughter married, RT and performed the ceremony. That was 12 years ago or so.

He preached for me that Sunday Morning at Grayson and preached the message on forgiveness. We went to lunch with him that day and he gave me several of his books including the book of Joseph entitled, "God meant it for good!"

I have since read several of his books. He is one of the most intelligent men I have met but also one of the most humble men I have ever met. He shared a story with me, at lunch and told me, He has degree's on his wall in his office from some of the most prestigious universities in the world. But he is a failure as a father, because he lost his kids because of the ministry. He told me whatever I did, don't lose my kids because of the ministry.

I love RT Kendall.
