I took a few minutes to look around in the settings today. I discovered that the avatar size limit was some unbelievably low number that even PhotoShop couldn't achieve. I reset that and was able to change my photo. Give it a shot now.

Apparently there's also an issue with the server getting rebooted and the sessions database table getting marked as crashed, which breaks the site.
Going to check into this, but for now, I have a scheduled job every 30 minutes to fix any broken database stuff.
If people start using this thing, we'll definitely have to look into some upgrades!
