Just wondering, maybe a bad idea. Maybe fun

One message board I frequent have end of the year awards. Basically certain categories some general and other more specific to the board. Open up voting, probably by e-mail will be best (so the votes will not be influenced by others' opinions). Maybe leave voting open for 2 weeks or so then announce the final votes.
Not sure if this is a good idea or not. I just thought it maybe a little fun to do. If you think it is a good idea and want to take the lead in coming up with the categories feel free. I would not be offended nor would I be offended if someone thought this was a terrible idea. Within two weeks after finals I can devote more time to this. Whoever takes the lead in this may need some help also not sure how big of a project this would be really.
Now just checking to see if a good and fun idea or bad idea. If you think this is a good idea feel free to suggest some categories in this thread. Just to get you thinking I will post the categories on the other board.

Probably can't call them the "Judies" -- kind of girlie-sounding and way too close to "Judas."
"Posties" sounds like a cereal or a little stickie office supply.
Any clever ideas?

How about the Annual Deuce Awards (because after all, it's Jude 2).
Whoever wins the certain category is awarded a big gold number 2.
Does the One True Bride Championship Series qualify for Sporting event of the Year?

Man...I'm so honored...

Jeff called me at work and interrupted my lunch to tell me I was nominated for a Jude 2 award.
I'd like to thank all the little people. Mormon and Moron alike. I'd like to thank my dyslexia coach for all the hard work. I'll never give up. Ummmm....and to the public school system. I guess that's all for now. Thanks Jude 2! I'm going to Disney World!

Funniest User of the Year - Imapk (close second for Yellow Rose)
Most Knowledgeable User of the Year - I think there are several that are knowledgable, but Wisest, I would have to lean towards Pastor Bill
Most Illiterate User of the Year - Too many to name (hint, we need spell check for some people to look smart when they argue)
User Most Likely to Make You Change Your Mind In A Debate - Pastor Bill
User Most Likely To Start A Fight In An Empty Room - If the room is empty, that would meant that I am not in it, wouldn't it? If I am not in it, how can I say who was starting a fight in there (that is my official Politically Correct statement).
Most Helpful User of the Year - Billy in NC (hope to meet him one day, seems incredibly nice.
If You Were Stuck In A Lift With A Jude2er….Who Would You Most Like It To Be - Panhandler, Steve and Imapk just to pass the time with laughter (or I could give you my Victorious Secrets answer and say Kimmy)
If You Were Stuck In A Lift With A Jude2er….Who Would You Least Like It To Be - a certain PHILanthropist I met at the HOOVER building in Washington, DC one time.
John Peel Memorial ‘Grumpy Old Man’ Award - Gotta go with Vande on that one.
The ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’ Award - Those that continue to put their faith in these showmen tv ministers (not talking about the few legitimate ones)
Thread Starter of the Year - I don't want to mention any names, but I don't FEEL like using my HOOVER vacuum cleaner tonight when I get home.
Most Respected User of the Year - TIE -Kenya (fair in a fight) and Pastor Bill
Best Mod/Admin of the Year - Shellie (because she will get in your face and still makes me laugh at all times)
Most Missed User of the Year - TIM ELSTEN (sp?)
Least Missed User Of The Year - I won't say, that would be mean, but I do wish Manifold Blessings upon them
Overall User of the Year - Pastor Bill (pleasant, knowledgeable, and all around nice guy)
Jude2 Hall Of Fame - Gerald (he makes the world go round)

Wow MrDanger, didn't see those coming! but thank you, although my wife would have to question how these two fit.
Most Knowledgeable User of the Year - I think there are several that are knowledgable, but Wisest, I would have to lean towards Pastor Bill
and
Most Illiterate User of the Year - Too many to name (hint, we need spell check for some people to look smart when they argue)
So who is the "official board" making these decisions, somebody tallying votes? I think the "least wanted stuck in an elevator with" was a landslide, but some of these may need a recount!

Good idea, need to add some new categories, though.
I like Pastor Sam's and Mr. Danger's nominees. Can I second all of them (and add Tracy to most likely to change my mind)?
