What is the largest one time offering you have ever recieved from a church service as a pastor or evangelist?

I am not a pastor or an evangelist, but I know we have taken up offerings in the past over the $1K mark.

We have greater than 1k offerings.

However, your post seems to be saying something a bit different than the poll question. you are talking about a "love offering" for the minister/evangelist,it seems. and in this case I would have voted in the sub 1k catagory. IIRC, the biggest love offering check I have written for our church was for something just over $800 (including hotel and meal costs)

Personally, I have never recieved more than $150, but that was a "thank you" at the end of months worth of work, so that probably doesn't count. For a single service of ministering, the most i have recieved was a love offering of $17 and two dozen cookies.

The largest one-time offering I've ever given is $1000. The largest one-time offering ever received was $2500.

The day before my dad died, the church took up a $3000 offering (little did we know my mom would need it so badly the next few days) - which is amazing because we only have about 60-75 in our church. Of course, that Sunday was a packed house.

Saw Jesse Duplantis collect $18,000 one night.

I saw Prophet Demond Wilson (a.k.a., Lamont of Sanford fame) receive his own love offering at an AG in Vicksburg, MS. He stated something like: If you can't give at least $10, don't give anything at all.

I'm curious as to the total of the offering that night.

I did a 1 service Sunday morning concert at an independant church once and no offering was even mentioned. At the back of the church they had wooden boxes that people dropped envelopes in. I received a check for over $1700.00 that morning. It was needed and appreciated. These folks had been taught to bless God with their gifts. It was awesome.

As clerk and treasurer, we receive the 5th Sunday offering. The most I every received was $147.75, this past Sunday. I think they are afraid I'm going to quit

I visited World Harvest one day, and they had a few visiting celebrity preachermen.

In the 6 or so hours I was there, they collected 4 or 5 offerings, if I remember right.

And one of the offerings was a "spontaneous" offering, where people just started running up to the front like their hair was on fire, throwing money onto the stage. Yes, I mean to use the word "stage."

It was sickening. I have no idea how much they collected, but I'm sure I could retire on it.

so you, teh clerk/treasurer recieve payment on months with 5 sundays?!?!!?!
