I just have to say that Ole Miss has been coming back and I am really proud of my boys!

That game was insane with all the calls the refs were making, but ole miss played hard, especially the defense in the end!

They played hard, and I cheered the win. It was almost as if Ole Miss tried to give the game away but LSU didn't want it, though. The 2nd down call with the pass toward the end zone was a bad call for that situation. They were moving the ball, eating the clock, with the run. Houston Nutt lost his composure during the last 7 minutes of the game. McCluster's dodge of the onside kick made their coverage look bad; truth is, it was worse. McCluster was right to dodge that ball as fast as it was moving by him. The guys on the end of that line should have protected the ball. The best thing to happen to Ole Miss on Saturday was Jordan Jefferson. The fact that he didn't at least try and throw the ball was insane. He was already, before the ball was ever set, signalling to other players that a spike was coming. With 1 second left in the game? Sure enough, that's what he did. Amazing. I doubt they would've scored anyway, but Ole Miss gave them too many opportunities. Had their been 2 more seconds in the game, we could be seeing a 28-27 LSU win today.

But, I'm oh so glad we're not. I still find it hard to believe that LSU is ranked in the top 13 and Ole Miss is #25. That's not right. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what it is these voters have for LSU. It is an all out, irrational .... lust or something. I dunno. LSU is not a great team. Good, but not that great. Oregon State certainly should be ranked above them.
