On Saturday, my dad's family will have its 1st Jones family reunion...half of us are Vol fans & half are Bama fans. Everyone is meeting at my aunt's house in Goodlettsville. I can't wait! Hopefully, everyone will have a good time...behave themselves. We started planning this a year ago while one of my cousins was serving overseas. My aunt wanted to do this "because we don't know how much longer Mother will be with us". Unfortunately, Granny Lawson decided she needed to go on to Heaven in April.

I am so excited...those involved include: Bamafan, Pastor Jason, Kimmy, Mr. Danger, Curious PK. What better day to get together than one of the greatest college rivalries! GO BIG ORANGE.

BTW, Kenya, who ya pullin' for...answer carefully

I'm praying that there will be "some" survivors from this family reunion.

Well, I can't say the Bama fans were gracious winners, but they weren't TOO OBNOXIOUS. Of course, that was probably because they were too shocked at winning to be obnoxious.

Bama played a great game and deserved to win.

Jeff we did not celebrate till the last minute cause we were afraid yall would come back like everyone else has done this year.

We had a great time even with the vols decorated bathroom (thanks Angie)

Jeff is just a little upset because he lives with a Bama Fan 24/7 - 365 and she will remind him of this game everyday.


We all had a great time and it was even better with a Bama win. Thanks to Jeff, Kimmy & Courtney for their hospitality to my wife, daughter & myself Friday & Saturday nights.
