Actually, a true UGA fan (like my husband) will be rooting for UT. You want UT to go to the SEC championship because I don't see UGA beating LSU... that will hurt your chances for a good bowl game!

I am a true UGA fan as the come. You should see my office and house UGA stuff everywhere.

UGA has nothing to fear of LSU. GA is playing as good as anyone in the country right now.

And you think UT will beat LSU?

There isn't one UT fan that believes that. We have been surprised with most of our wins this year.

The point being, Georgia has nothing to gain by playing LSU. If they beat them, they aren't going to play for the national championship. They can just sit back and watch others fall, play well in a bowl game and come out near the top 4 in final rankings, great spring board for next year. Even if they play and beat LSU, LSU is such a hard hitting team you are just going to get your players banged up an possibly be too hurt for their bowl game.

Man, I knew the BCS was terrible but I didn't have a clue it had brought us to this level. Georgia would later be second in the SEC East, than have a chance to be the SEC champs, so they can play in a good bowl game have a good final ranking and "spring board into next year". Do you remember the preseason rankings this year? Teams like USC used a good showing in the Rose Bowl last year to "spring board" into this season to be ranked #1 to in preseason to be ranked out of the Top Ten now!

Besides if UGA plays in the SEC championship it will be a month before their bowl game so I don't buy what your saying one bit. Georgia fans would rather play in the SEC Championship game than for UT to play.

Yes we would.

I still believe Ga can play with LSU.
