Week 12 Thoughts

Postby KBevangelist » November 18th, 2007, 4:54 am

Well we are winding down...............so sad.

Anyway,

Georgia won with defense yesterday. Made some great 3rd down stops.

Ohio State beat the Wolverines, did not get to watch all of it but Ohio State looked pretty good. Dalebert I am sure is shouting the victory.

The Clemson/BC game was a great game. I believe Clemson should have won that one, but it slipped away. If that Clemson player would have caught the ball they would have been headed to Jacksonville.

Texas Tech beat Oklahoma- Lee Corso was talking yesterday on Gameday, how much better Oklahoma was compared to LSU. I guess he will not be talking like that any more.

LSU keeps winning. They were played tough for the most part yesterday though. Could Arkansas by a miracle, sneek in a still a win next week?

Week 12:

Oregon began the weekend by going down to the Cat's from 'Zona I hate it for Dixon. If I had a vote in the Heisman he would get it.

Hawaii pulled one out, I think they get beat this week by Boise.

Dalebert, what can I say, I really thought Michigan would beat the Buckeys this week. OSU played well now they are in the clubhouse sitting and waiting. Shame the Big 10 does not have 12 teams for a league championship game. I think OSU is headed to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl.

WVU tried to give another game away, beat a good Cincinnati team we play for the Big East Championship this weekend.

UGA beat a good UK team and UT pulled one out against the 'Dores.

This week UK will beat UT to stop a 22 game losing streak to open the door for the Dog's to play the Tigers for the SEC championship game.

Kansas and Missouri both won this week play for the BigXII north title.

Oklahoma, layed an egg. TT coach Leach after playing $10,000 fine wins a big one.

Short week this week but some great games.

Thursday Night ASU/USC

Friday Colorado/Nebraska
LSU/Arkansas by the way what are they thinking in Arkansas getting rid of Nutt?

Saturday - Kansas/Missouri; UK/UT; Georgia/GT; UVA/VT; WVU/UCONN man it's almost over for the year I hate that.
If I were to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for business. I think Arkansas is NUTS for getting rid of Houston Nutt. Some school will grab him up quick.

I hate it is almost over as well.

Yeah, this is the big one for the Warriors, for sure... huge rivalry, two teams with momentum, a Boise State QB that was actually courted and recruited by June Jones but chose Boise.

If UH can't beat Boise State at Aloha Stadium, in front of a fired up, sell-out crowd that will be VERY vocal and enthusiastic, they can't beat Boise State at all. It will be a magnificent game, in any case. And Colt Brennan will be starting as QB this week.

PG - I will be watching this game of TV. It will be the Warriors chance to impress me that they deserve a BCS bid. Like they need to impress me to get that.

I will be at the game, sitting up in the cheap seats (Yellow EE) because those were the only seats we could get 3 weeks ago!

Kickoff is 4:05 PM Hawaii Time on Friday the 23rd. That would be about 9:00 PM Eastern/8:00 PM Central, wouldn't it?

I think it's a 6 hour difference on the Eastern Time zone so that would make it a 10 PM game.

PG - Make a sign that tells the ESPN family your with the Jude2 family, who knows you might make Sportscenter or something!!!
