I hate to say it but Tebow will probably win.

Although if I had a vote my #1 vote would be for Dixon of Oregon
#2 McFadden of Arkansas
#3 Colt of Hawaii

As a Razorback fan I'm not sure that I can be objective... LOL....

I do believe that McFadden is the best all around player in college football. He is incredible to watch...

I hope he wins it... However, Heisman or no Heisman I am just excited to see him playing on Sunday's next year!

Wouldn't you rather see him playing on Saturday's next year? He is just a junior.

I hope it goes to Tim Tebow.. He's a great all around college player with grit and athleticism.

Number 2 is McFadden
Number 3 is Dixon

As much as I hate to admit it I think it will go to Tebow. I wanted to see him get his cage rattled all year and finally got to see it in the GA FLA game, and it didn't really slow him down. It's easy to keep running the ball when you're not getting hit, it takes a good quarterback to keep running regardless.

But I like McFadden and Brennan

Rob, I would love to see him playing on Saturday's next year. However, he was pretty open before the beginning of this season that if he avoided injury and had a good year, that it would be his last.

Felix Jones, his more than adequate partner, has also hinted at going pro this year.

Some one help me here. Isn't the Heisman suppose to go to the best player on one of the top teams?

How can a guy regardless of how many touchdowns he accounted for, but is the QB who is responsible for the offense lose 3 games and still win the Heisman?

Don't get me wrong Tebow is a good player, but he lost 3 games. What about Dixon, look what he meant to the Ducks. He lost one game against Cal., but since he has been out the Ducks offense has been no where to be found.

Take note of this Paully and Eager East Coast guy making a push for a PAC-10 player!!!

Hard choice here:

McFadden or Brennan in a "too close to call" for me.

right on.

I was on the Dixon bandwagon until he got hurt. I think the Heisman should be awarded to the player who was able to sustain their performance for the entire year.

Dixon's injury will cost him way more than a hunk of metal.
Let the wild rumpus start!

As far as I can read I guess the answer is no!!!

HERE

While the task of designating the most outstanding college football player was daunting, a crucial decision was the group of individuals chosen to select him. It was determined that a logical choice was sports journalists from all across the country who, as informed, competent and impartial, would comprise the group of electors.

Sounds like the best college player no matter what team he's on.

The ballots state that "In order that there will be no misunderstanding regarding the eligibility of a candidate, the recipient of the award MUST be a bona fide student of an accredited college or university including the United States Academies. The recipients must be in compliance with the bylaws defining an NCAA student athlete."

Hummm... The ballot doesn't say that the student has to be on the best team.

Good thought to bring up Pastor Rob! I'm gonna search a little more..

Okay Tim & David,

Thanks for that info. Let me really state how I feel about it. I dislike Florida, I don't like Tebow. I can't stand the fact that it may go to a sophmore.

I really think Dixon or McFadden deserve it more than Tebow.
