Was Jessica Simpson there?! 8)

I was sad to see the score, hoping the Cowboys would at least face the Packers next week. And, while I like the Chargers and home-boy Phillip Rivers (his dad was my PE teacher and the head football coach at my old HS in the early 80's, Phillip R. was just a toddler), I was hoping for a classic matchup between the Colts and Patriots, too. BUT, that's why they play the game .... championships are won, not awarded.

What I want to know is, what is up with T.O crying, "defending" his quarterback. T.O has thrown more QB's under the bus, and now he is defending one? something must have froze over. 8)

Phillip Rivers looked like a real jerk taunting the crowd at the end of the game. I don't care what was being said to him, he could have shown some class. Guess that was too much to ask.

Jeff, I couldn't agree more. Rivers is so classless that it is not even funny. Now I know why the Gaints wanted to get rid of him for Eli. I don't like the Patriots, but I hope they beat the Chargers.

I'll go out on a limb and say this is the year Brett is gonna ride off into the sunset. Packers are gonna be Super Bowl champs. Watch it happen.

Errrr... your limb broke off. 8) Favre's ride into the sunset will be limited to his trip to the hunting club.

Actually, I like Brett, but I'm proud that Eli (Ole Miss) claimed the victory over the Southern Mississippi boy. :D
