It has to deal with soccer, but some average Joe, semi-professional team (Havant) will play Liverpool Saturday in the FA Cup. Right now Havant are 50-1 underdogs and the odds of Liverpool winning 6-0 is 8-1.

The assortment of plumbers, plasterers, trash collectors and taxi drivers are trying to achieve the biggest upset in the 136-year history of the tournament against the seven-time winners.

...

While Liverpool plays before sellout crowds, Havant's average home attendance is 606. Their biggest crowd was the 4,400 who watched the 4-2 third-round victory over third-flight leaders Swansea.

While some of Liverpool's players earn close to $200,000 a week, the Havant players earn their living doing other jobs and play for the team in their spare time.

Havant scored first and then went up 2-1 over Liverpool and at halftime it was 2-2. Then in the 56th minute, Liverpool scored a goal and went on to win 5-2. Havant played well and had a chance to pull the upset, but came up short.

He is. They are using that as a huge draw for ticket sales.
