The Seattle Seahawks finally released Shaun Alexander yesterday. A bit late if you ask me. The man was good, but I think he was great in '05 because of our O-Line. Anyway, does anyone think he'll get picked up by another team, or is he now bound for the Analyst Desk?

I think it's possible he'll be signed 'cuz most teams could use a veteran running back presence. But I'm pretty sure his starting days are long over. I wonder how he'd look in black and gold? Fast Willie is recovering still . . . :-k

It was obvious from the start of the off season, that we were going to let Shaun go. I just wish this decision would have been made months ago. maybe then, we wouldnt have lost our Kicker.

That's true. It's too bad for the Hawks 'cuz Josh Brown is a very good kicker and has won them more than a few games the past couple of years.

I would love to see him in Titan blue!

He'll get picked up for sure. I would say there's a dozen teams that would take a chance on him. Take away the last two years and he was one of the most durable backs for years.

Ditto on Josh B. although he woulda been gone anyways. The Seahawks weren't about to make him the highest paid kicker of all time like StL did.

I think if we had kept Steve Hutchinson, Shaun would still be rushing for 1500+ yards a season (or anyone wishing to masquerade as an RB for that matter) and he would still be in a Seahawks uniform.

His foot injury had to have bothered him later on in the season too...he seemed to really shy away from contact. Maurice Morris was a much more effective running back last year, and that's not saying much.

Jones and Duckett were excellent additions.
