Tebow Refuses Playboy

Postby DeWayneTN » July 25th, 2008, 7:46 am

Interesting article about Tim Tebow pulling himself from the running for Playboy's picks. Good for him:

As a devout hater of all things Gator (hey that rhymed) I have an incredible amount of respect for Tebow and how he lives out his testimony.

He's a hoss and a talent. I hope he maintains a level head. He sure is some special football player.

Ugghhh. Not surprising, but I hate this response from the Editor. :(

Playboy Sports Editor Gary Cole downplayed the university's decision, however, and said that Tebow would not have made the team anyway.

Uhhhh, right. A sophomore Heisman winner won't make Playboy's team. Gimme a break. Why didn't he just stick his tongue out at Tebow? Would've been more adult than that. Sheesh.
