If UT can play like they did against Miss. State (a team that's given everyone else fits) then we will only lose by 21.
If UT plays like they have the other 6 games, then I imagine ESPN will take it off the air after the first five minute because of some cruelty to animals clause.
Bama does need to pick up the second half play though. Fulmer does like to frustrate Bama and I will imagine is looking at it as the only chance of job security.
I feel your pain! Really, I do!! I don't see this being a high scoring game, and I don't see it being a blowout. I see a close game with an over/under 45. I'd bet under. Bama is a 6.5 point favorite, and I don't feel good about it. We took Ole Miss too lightly, a potentially deadly mistake. With UT's troubles, I can see that happening again.
UT has 2 injuries to key players from last week, we've got 1. UT against the run this year has been less than what we're all accustomed to seeing. Still, they have big guys, strong guys, and they're hungry and, well, nothing satisfies an appetite like winning this particular game. So, I think this game comes down to ....... pick 'em. I may be dead wrong, and probably will be proved laughably so, but I just think we may be walking into a big orange trap this Saturday. I always poormouth us on big games, always have and probably always will. But, y'all, I've watched our team's swagger melt some and I've seen these guys just sort of wander around for the whole 2nd half in four straight games. We struggled against Tulane, now. If we win, it won't be by much, I don't think. We've had some big wins vs. UT in recent years, when they were better and we were certainly worse. And, we play well enough in Knoxville. But, I just don't like the ju-ju.
And, in this week's sign of the apocalypse, Alabama has been picked to win the SEC West in men's basketball. We can't stand this much success!!
