I just got the call that I do have a ticket to the Music City Bowl and will get to watch the Commodores battle Boston College in the flesh. Hopefully it will be a bit warmer than some of the days we have seen here lately. :P

wow, finally something good

As I mentioned a friend called and invited me to the Music City Bowl. I had debated buying tickets since they start at $15 and go up from there. I didn't want to go alone and seeing how Christmas just passed I didn't want to ask anyone to fork over some dough for such an event. Between parking and concessions these things can get pricey.

Anyhow it turns out the tickets are absolutely free to us. They are 50 yard line behind the player's bench is what I am told. I will see tomorrow of course. Kick off is 2:30 I believe but we are arriving around noon for a free tailgate party with all you can eat burgers and dogs, etc.

How did I get so lucky? :P

Awesome game. We had 50 yard line tickets behind Boston College's bench which made for an exciting game. I sat in the front row and talked to the mascot alot.

The look on the faces of the BC fans was priceless after the game. Total shock! I thought for sure Vandy would blow it but their defense was real tonight.

I froze my tail off but loved the game.
