Today is the first football game for ODU in 50 years. They are playing Chowan University. The area is very excited about having a local football team again. The stadium was sold out. It is being broadcast by the local cable company. Go ODU Monarchs!!!!!!

ODU won the game. It was exciting to watch. Also, they have a sophmore kicker who is awesome. He made 18 points in the game. He kicked one from 48 yds. It cleared the post by at least 6 feet. This kid is going to be a great kicker in the future.

ODU is now 3-0. Wow, not bad for a new team.
