UFL kicks off tonight (10/8)

[dolfan]

Oh, my. I just learned that the UFL is kicking off its first game tonight. The league has 4 teams, California (Redwoods), Las Vegas (Locomotives), Florida (Tuskers) and New York (Sentinels). A few familiar names among the rosters from the NFL include Simeon Rice and Tim Rattay. Taye Biddle, who played for Ole Miss and is from Decatur, Alabama, is on the Florida team. The game will be on Versus tonight. The season is short, ending with a championship game in November (I guess of the teams with the two best records). The team colors are all some shade of green and blue, which is odd and confusing.
