Jr's Hanging 'em up

Postby Paully_44 » June 2nd, 2010, 3:54 pm

After 22 seasons, Ken Griffy Jr officially calls it a career. yeah, he probably should have done it last year and if the team was doing any better he may have finished the season, but I have no complaints.

I got to see him play dozens of games in person, and remember him cruising the outfield with his dad. he was definately a class act for the game and he will be missed.

I have always liked Ken Griffey Jr. I remember playing his game, The Winning Run, on the Super Nintendo. hahahaha

Imagine the monster numbers he would have put if he would have been able to remain injury free.

After he left Seattle he could not stay healthy.
