The wounds on their neck,seemed to indicate they were killed before they were thrown into the water.

An ambulance took the bodies to the morgue for further inspection.

They would have to do an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and a DNA test to see if the stranger could be identified.

Crane had heard of the work of by the Swiss physician Friedrich Miescher, and thought perhaps it could help in the identification of the victims.

The good doctor told Crane he would be very happy to assist him,but he would first have to tie up a few loose ends.

They knew of the trouble maker,but the identity of the stranger was a mystery,and it was wondered if he really could be a long lost relative since he did resemble Cranes brother.

The ticket originated from Swinedon for one person who was carrying a large amount of cash.
