One bag Oreida shredded hash browns
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 16oz container of sour cream
I diced onion
I stick butter melted
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 bag of shredded cheddar (save other half for top)
2 to 3 cups of chopped corn flakes

Preheat oven to 350

Totally thaw hashbrowns. (It is so much easier to mix)
Mix together all ingredients in saving half of the cheddar for the top. Mix very well.

Smooth into casserole dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese and then chopped corn flakes.

Bake uncovered in oven until brown on top. Usually about 45 min. to an hour depending on your oven.

Quick question, when you say crush corn flakes do you mean just breaking/course flakes or do you want a fine crush corn flack? Thanks

Just course flakes. You don't want them too fine. The purpose is for a crunchy topping.

You're welcome. I changed the recipe to say chopped instead of crushed.

Tried this one today for a church dinner. It must have
been good - but I wouldn't know! I was the last person
through the line & was only able to scrape about 1/2 a
fork full from the sides of the pan.

Shellie rocks again!
