another chocolate candy

1/2 bar white chocolate bark
1/2 bar chocolate bark
3/4 cups peanut butter
2 1/2 cups rice krispies
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups roasted peanuts

melt white and chocolate bark in microwave (on medium power - stirring until melted). add peanut butter, stir until mixed and add rest of ingredients. drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. let set.

makes about 4-5 dozen candies.

I made these on Monday night and they were good. I wasn't successful at dropping them by spoonfuls onto waxed paper though. I put them into a 13 x 9 pan (I had made a double batch) and when they cooled cut them into squares. Everyone loved them!

Well, this is an interesting recipe. I am a bit confused about the white chocolate "bark"? I always thought that this was something you make from chocolate and nuts in a big cookie tray.

But hey, I will go for chocolate as long as it is the dark one, anytime. With peanut butter sounds good too!

In the baking section of the store you can buy big "bars" sectioned off in squares that are either milk or white chocolate almond bark. They are designed for candy making.
