VLB stood for Victory Leaders Band, the name for the youth of COGOP (ages 12 - 35 if you can believe it). During the 60's VLB vests were produced and sold from General Headquarters and worn by the youth of COGOP, especially during state convention youth nights and at the General Assembly youth program. The vests were reversible, black and red. There was also a VLB Bible. It, too, was red. Both the vest and the Bible had the VLB logo. I still have mine.
