It's too early for me to be on here, at first I thought you were saying you were wearing baklava!

(Though that might be a good way to keep warm, if you put it inside you and gain a few pounds! )

I love it when it snows. Dont like it after it gets brown and slushy.

We got down to 25 here last night, "they" say we may even see some snow-flakes this weekend. I sure hope so. I cant wait to build a snowfort with my boys and have a snowball fight.
Let the wild rumpus start!

No, we can't have cats or dogs in the apartment complex that I live in. I found that picture on line. I love the expression on the kitten's face, it says it all.

It is supposed to snow here tomorrow. Wish it would as I love to walk in fresh fallen snow and hear it crunch underfoot. But it is not a common weather factor here in southwest Washington.

My snow is actually snow and ice. We had freezing rain that covered everything with a thick layer of ice, then snow, then more freezing rain. Ended up on the ground with a covering of ice, about 4 inches of snow and about 1 inch of ice on top. Massive power outages and trees destroyed from the weight.

I like the snow, but when it leaves and is just COLD, I wish for 90 in the shade.

Ed,
Your pictures are from a couple of years ago when we had that bad ice storm aren't they? That was the year they closed Kentucky down because the roads were so bad that nobody was allowed to drive. I live and work in the Nashville area, and we had to shutdown because all of our incoming vendor parts were stuck in Kentucky.

Yes, that's right. The interstates were closed all over northern and central KY.
Big Rigs stranded and couldn't move. Lexington was one of the hardest hit with areas that looked like a tornado went through the trees. I live near Elizabethtown. Power was off here and I could hear limbs snapping off trees that sounded like rifle shots.

Snow is forcast here for tomorrow. Yea!! Because we get so little here in southwestern Washington, I am looking forward and hoping the weathe man is correct in his predictions tonight. I love to walk in the new fallen snow and hear the "crunch", etc. etc. etc.

Yes, Rose and I were actually in Lexington doing some Christmas shopping when it hit (ok actually we had done some Christmas shopping and were at the movies watching one of the LOTR movies)

We had met in Lexington, so we had both vehicles, but left mine sitting rather than trying to get two through the ice and home. We picked mine up 3-4 days later, and there was still a 2 inch coat of ice on it we had to chip off to even get in!
