Burning DVD

Hey Guys just wondering if any of you know anything about converting a download to a file that can be burnt on a DVD. I have purchased 123 COPY DVD but havn't figyred out how to convert wma files to one that I can open.

Are you trying to burn audio files to a dvd or movie files to the dvd? WMA is an audio file, so if your burning audio to a dvd then some cd players won't recognize it. You can play it on a dvd player though.
I would convert to wma file to a mp3 because it would probably be recognized by any cd player. You should be able to find conversion software for free online. There's a ton of them, some good, some not so good.

If your burning movie files they can be converted to dvd format, commonly iso or img files. It all depends on what your doing. There are alot of options and formats, it would help to know what direction your going.

I have downloaded the Promise Keepers Promo. from their website. it shows up as a wma file. I purchased a dvd program called 123 copy dvd and I am trying to use it to burn the promo to a dvd but have been unable to. The program says it can't open the input or output file. I have contacted the software company and they sent me a list of web sites to download encoders and codex files that they said I needed to use the software. I am just hoping to get some help from someone that may have used this type of programs.

I went to the PK web site and downloaded what I think your talking about. I believe it is in wmv format. I could be mistaken, but thats what I found. For those files I use DivX Player. It has the codex you would need and a conversion tool also. Its great, I use it nearly everyday. Very simple interface, user friendly, and best of all its FREE. (there is a pay version but who needs it?)
