Do you guys really think God is going to allow 144,000 folks to deny the Lord Jesus Christ and still enter into heaven? The only way to the Father is through the SON.

Looks like that promise you referenced was made to Abraham and his seed, Jesus Christ.

He's talking apples and oranges here Danny. In 39-40 he's telling them that if they were sons of Abraham they would do what's right. In 44 he's telling them who their REAL father is. That would be like me claiming to be a Christian and you telling me that if I were a Christian I would do what's right, and then you saying I'm really a sinner.
And Jesus' linage was from the House of David which came from Abraham if I'm not mistaken.(and I'm not)

Which is what I said. You asked if Israel was still God's chosen and until Christ comes back the answer will always be YES. What happens then is up to God.

The promise was not to every descendant of Abraham but to the promised descendant Jesus Christ.

Sure agreed... but God even blesses Ishmael and his decendants... Even though he wasn't the son of promise... He still benefited from the Abraham / God relationship
