May I just step in here to bring peace, joy, and harmony to this somewhat tense situtation?

It was just a FUNNY! Nothing less, nothing more. I laughed because I KNOW and UNDERSTAND why these things are funny. I practiced these things back in the day.

It's OKAY.

I laugh at my kids. That doesn't make me a bad mom.

I laugh at a favorite child of mine's speech impediment when some of his words come out funny. It's okay......He laughs with me.

I said i would refrain from posting with the same "sarcasm"
Humor seems to be onesided from time to time, if I made a post to the reversal and said here are the steps to get you "back on track" there would be no laughter, this was proved when i first came to this forum. I would be told how inconsiderate i am for posting on D/R etc..... so point being the double standard gets old, you have a lot of friends in TCOG including me and I count Danny as a very close personal friend so just think about it sometimes. Recieve a post in laughter but dont respond with the reversal of the situation.

I also said in my post:

While it may have been 20 to 30 years in your area, it is current still in some areas. I know first hand because of family in those COGOP churches. My mother raised me balanced, but I did experience some these things from others I grew up with. Just for the record, I am 45YO.
