Today I took my gas receipts to the grocery store that has the gas specials and filled up for 94.9/gallon. Lowest I have paid in years.

We filled up today for 1.47.9. The gas was 1.57.9, minus our .10 Kroger discount. Gas came down .04 today.
God Bless,
Jan

If someone were to pay you ten cents for every kind word you ever spoke and collect five cents for every unkind word, would you be rich or poor?

I asked myself this question, "At what price will I be happy or satisified?"

I am happy now. Just don't let it go back up. :D

When I was in about the 6th grade, my family was driving north to visit the folks in Missouri. It was the change of seasons, and we ran into a gas war(remember those, anybody?) about 30 miles out. Dad found out the price was 15 cents a gallon, which was low even back in the early 60's. He of course filled his tank and drove away with a big smile!

I guess remembering things like that give me a different perspective, but to me, 50 cents a gallon seems mighty fair...especially when you remember that the money will probably come back to us from the arabs in the form of bombs and bullets...

Here in Greer, SC I saw regular gas for $1.36.9, that comes to nearly $3.00 a gallon decrease from just a short while ago. Sure helps extend my expense allotment. Thank you Lord!
