Thank you for letting me serve.

Tomorrow is Veterans Day, and this old Vet wants you all to know that in the day of my service I considered it my obligation. That has changed over the years and I now feel that it was a privilege. May God bless all of you as you honor those that have served so we might be free.

Thank you for serving us.

A couple of years ago, I had my sixth graders write a letter to a cerain soldier serving in Iraq. He was a fellow teacher's son so it was pretty personal to the kids.

One of my 6th grade boys brought tears to my eyes with the words of his letter. He told the soldier, "When I think of you there fighting for my families safety, I feel ashamed to be sitting here doing nothing."
There never was a horse that couldn't be rode and there never was a cowboy that couldn't be throwed.

I also want to thank all of you who have served or are serving in the military. And like TW, I thank Elohim for the priviledge and honor I was given to have served in the Army.

Again, thanks to all the vets past and present. May Elohim look after and guard each and every one of you. And may He wrap His tallit of love and peace and protection around you.
With Messiah Y'shua, we have access to His salvation.
With the Torah, we have access to His wisdom.
