Don't know enough about Indian law to say much legally, but from a pure populism standpoint, it will take drastic action by a lot of people on principle to change this country. I think it is too late, personally, but I'm glad the Lakota are doing this. Challenge the government, challenge its power at the essence of its very being to do what it says is may do.
